I am happy to announce the upcoming autumn edition of my International Idrija Lace online Design course, starting in October 2023.
The course is held in English. It consists of 10 weekly live Zoom meetings and individual pattern corrections via email.
We draw patterns by hand. Main technique used is the narrow cloth stitch (characteristic of Idrija lace) so basic knowledge of any tape-lace technique is wellcome. No particular drawing knowledge is required. Course topics start with a simple free-flowing tape-lace pattern and soon proceed to drawing other lace techniques, repeating patterns, motif lace, colored and 3d lace. The course takes place on either Mondays or Wednesdays at 8.00 p.m. (my time = UTC + 01:00).
Price/person: 150,00€.
